Much of what I now offer takes the form of music.
Many years ago, I was a pastor and worked for a local seminary. Then I became ill and, over the course of a year, lost more of my physical abilities until I had to leave work altogether. At home—unable to drive, and on many days barely able to move—I found myself asking what would now give my life purpose. How could I continue to live with intention, perhaps even in a ministerial way? Music became the answer.

I grew up in a musical home. We had a Kimball upright piano that my mother played, and she started me on lessons when I was four. My father’s acoustic guitar and my grandfather’s accordion were always nearby, and I explored them freely. When I was ten, after much begging, my mother found an affordable used drum set for me that Christmas. At school, I’d sneak into the band room to play the marimba whenever no one was around. In short, I’ve always loved exploring the unique sounds and textures of acoustic instruments.
I wrote my first instrumental song as a teenager on the piano and soon songwriting became a preferred way to process the world. Today, as my health allows, I pour my creative and ministerial energy into music. Many days I’m not able to spend time in the studio at all, which can be frustrating. But on the days when I am able—when ideas can finally make their way from my head into sound—it is deeply rewarding. I’m always composing internally, waiting for the opportunity to record and share that music.

All music on the listen page is free, and always will be. The view page features a curated selection of music videos, if you prefer to watch as well as listen.
My hope and prayer is that, whatever brings you here, you find something in this music that blesses you.
